Digital agency id8labs appoints new CEO
Mumbai based digital advertising agency, id8labs, has appointed Vivek Saurabh as its new chief executive officer. Saurabh, who has 16 years of experience in operations, marketing and business development, was earlier heading various portfolios of Collections - Centre of Excellence at Genpact. Prior to that, he was marketing head of Idea Cellular, in Delhi.
Saurabh will be based in Delhi and he will set up id8labs’ Delhi operations.
Speaking to agencyfaqs! about moving to an advertising agency, Saurabh says, “It’s a great opportunity to work with a company that is growing four times a year, in an industry that is growing too. At id8labs, I will be employing the best practices of international marketing to enhance our delivery and potential.”
Amit Tripathi, managing director, id8labs, says, “Given such a diverse team, operations, practices and processes become critical. Vivek will work towards implementing six sigma practices in the company.”
Saurabh added that the agency aims to increase its staff strength from 125 to 500 in three years.
The agency has announced two senior promotions as well. Tanmay Mohanty, head of strategy and business development, has been promoted as chief operating officer, id8labs. Mohanty has been with the agency for two years. Sheetal Vora, who has been with the agency since its inception, has been appointed chief operating officer of a new Internet venture, which is yet to be disclosed. Vora will also serve as vice-president, corporate affairs. |
