Tripathi buys WebPercept
Amit Tripathi, founder of NetWeb Solutions Ltd, has acquired a 51% stake of Percept Holdings in WebPercept. Percept had earlier partenered with NetWeb Solutions to launch WebPercept as a 51:49 joint venture in the early days of the dot-com era in 1999 -2000.
Post acquisition, Web Percept will be re-christened as id8labs. Confirming the acquisition, Amit Tripathi said: ”id8labs will be India’s first fully integrated Online and Digital Media agency. The acquisition is key to our strategic plans to emerge as the leading player in Indian and global markets in the fast growing Online and Digital space."
