He always had a leadership and entrepreneurial DNA in him, which was stimulated the minute he began his professional life. This further fuelled his desire to be a creator, a brand-maker, which led to an alliance with the Percept Group, to conceive India’s first major advertising and marketing company, Web Percept, which is now, our IdeateLabs. He is a visionary who foresees trends and believes in staying ready for tomorrow, today.

    A true Ideator of the marketing world, Amit is a knowledge powerhouse and a veteran of India’s digital media revolution. A true entrepreneur at heart, he believes in developing innovative and non- conventional ways for brands to re-invent themselves and engage intimately with their customers. He believes in empowering his team by sharing his rich experience in branding, innovation and digital marketing. His work ideology is based on a simple yet strong principle that ‘it’s his team that comes first, as they’re the ones who stand by him and exemplify his strength’.

    Our ‘Digital Guru’ can walk digital, talk digital and laugh digital… because digital is a very futuristic language! Besides all things virtual, there isn’t a single book on Indian mythology that has ever escaped his hungry-for-knowledge eyes. A keen follower of Chanakya and rarely the one to ‘boss’ around, he is a softie at heart. A bookworm that he is, he could even end-up reading a directory if he gets his hands on one. One look at him, and you could be sure of two things – he is a complete foodie, and a big time fan of the Star of the Millennium, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.

    With a media journey of over 14 years, including 10 years in digital media, Jaitral kick-started her adventure, by being a part of Subhash Ghai’s Mukta Arts. And since then, she has been riding on the road to success with her major pit-stops being – Hungama, Pinstorm, Brand portrait Digital, LBi and Geodesic.

    Understand

    Anything but a nagging boss, and fondly called ‘J’, she is a team player who believes that her best lies in getting the best out of every Ideator. Don’t be fooled by her petite frame, for she has featured in the top 10 most powerful women of Indian Digital Media, 2013. At Ideatelabs, she commands every brand’s journey – from acquisition to brand empowerment, a.k.a., The Queen Bee.

    Like

    She is a rebel, and for her, personal choices dictate over trends and likes, and hence loves to hear anything from Jim Morrison to Mohammad Rafi and Kishore Kumar. From learning to ride a bike at 13 to exploring the seldomly calm roads of Mumbai in the wee hours, she has always believed that the best of memories are created when you don’t think twice before ceasing the moment. A true insomniac, she loves to see the darkness disappear, as she gets engrossed in writing poetry on sleepless nights. A passionate Diary Collector, she believes in finding happiness in the small things life has to offer, instead of waiting for the big party.

    Vrutika has always been the early bird when it comes to working, throughout her career that spans 15 long years. In her initial working days at KR Choksi, Vrutika juggled between work and studies with a will that brought her amazing success. At quite an early age, she was bitten by the bug that makes people see only numbers, everywhere. Chasing this addiction, she went on to work with firms like Reliance InfoComm and Group M.

    Understand

    To explore a variety of roles, this Ex-Commercial Manager, Group M landed at Ideatelabs. And six and a half years later, Vrutika a.k.a our Director of Finance; manages accounts, finance, human resource, administration, legal and commercial departments. Game for any challenge, she has handled every department at Ideatelabs (well almost, except marketing).

    Like

    With a resolution to do something new, every year, she recently discovered her love for swimming, and now all her holiday destinations either have beaches, or at least a big pool. She loves to just zoom out of the city, and then find her road, that’s her way of going on unplanned long drives; as she believes in taking spontaneous decisions, “Soch gehri hojaaye, toh faisle kamzor hojaate hain”.

    She also loves to try different cuisines and move out of her comfort zone, to explore the unexplored, and prefers spending her free time watching intellectual T.V series like Fringe, House and Boston legal.

    With a game-time of 16+ years in the world of digital play, Ajay has been a key player of all the 4 aspects of today’s digital ecosystem – Internet, Gaming, Technology and Designing. Beginning his career with the programming team for Web Percept (the then Ideatelabs), he went on to acquire expertise in graphic designing, Adobe, programming, animation, 3D modelling & designing. His versatility helped him grab many career leveraging opportunities. You could also hold him responsible for being a part of numerous daily soaps by Balaji Telefilms. Now you know, where the plotting and conspiring streak comes from. Beware! (fun intended, seriously)

    With an envious and long clientele list, he has been a digital change maker for many – GoAir, eBay, Emonte, Colgate, HDFC, Maruti Suzuki, Sahara’s Firangi TV, Amby Valley, Godrej Interio, HSBC, Idea Cellular, IIFA, TCS and Vinod Chopra Productions, to name a few.

    Understand

    He heads the marketing, gaming and mobile apps division of Ideatelabs. A high scorer in the user-interface, navigation and other digital aspects, he powers the marketing, client servicing and business development teams to come up with the craziest of ideas, to add the technology boosters for a brand’s upsurge.

    Like

    Aj has been found guilty of being the mastermind behind every prank, gimmick or new employee ragging in the history of Ideatelabs. When he is not churning out path breaking ideas, you could find him fishing for inspiration and updates in the international waters of the digital sea. Besides being a Supremo and Tintin fan, he is a self-confessed EDM fan too. Also, loves spending his weekends watching action and comedy flicks.

    Know

    Determined to rock the digital space, Omkar began building his digital career profile 6 years ago. Having worked with digital biggies like JWT and Quasar Media, he has been a part of many major and successful campaigns. He has since inspired clients so much that he still gets freebies from them – Goodnight repellents, HDFC benefits, Richfeel discounts, Colgate toothpaste, etc. Now you know why he goes around asking random people, “Kya aap Colgate use karte hain, kya aapke toothpaste mein namak hain?”.

    A day in Omkar’s work life is best defined by the song - “I am a hunter, client wants a terrific plan, when I pull it off, he says - You’re the Man!”. Omkar is the antithesis of an angry, temperamental and serious ‘Head’. He is a prankster, a friend and an uber-cool Head to the Client-servicing, Social Media and New Business Development teams at Ideate. From pitching for a new biz to acquisition, from executing plans to brand expansion strategies, Omkar always has crazy but amazing ideas up his sleeves.

    Like

    A self-confessed fitness freak and a die-hard metal fan, Omkar is also a South Park addict and has watched EVERY Sunny Leone movie, first-day first show. When it comes to his love for wheels, he owns a Gallarado, Ferrari Italia and a Q7 (miniature models). He is a teetotaler and prefers to relax on weekends, head banging on Marlin Manson songs.

    Just like many other Indians, Sudhanshu first became an engineer and then decided what he exactly wanted to do in life. Having worked for over 4 years in Melbourne, and as a .NET professional in India, he loves applying his programming knowledge to impart brands a technological edge. He has shown enormous website development speeds on platforms like EpiServer Commerce, EpiServer CMS and C#.

    Caution! Technical Jargons Ahead.

    Qualifying and providing definition to technical strategy by performing evaluations and assessments on the various technical aspects of a brand, come naturally to him. Did that sound like those ‘terms & conditions apply; subject to market risks’ jibber-jabber you find in mutual fund ads?

    To put it in simpler words, Sudhanshu has been responsible for the technical integrity of digital projects, while providing technical guidance to clients and the team, at the brand programme and project levels. He leads assigned projects and works, to perform evaluations and feasibility reviews of creative concepts and technology solutions.

    Sud is an ardent admirer of the Aam Aadmi Party and one would always find an ‘AAP topi’ on his desk. But after the recent AAP debacle in the Lok Sabha elections, the topi is nowhere to be seen ever since. Our ‘mango’ aadmi is as cool as a cucumber and is unfazed by work pressure. His expertise goes beyond technology, and can whip-up a mean pasta in no time. He loves listening to Linkin Park, Dire Straits and is a big Kishore Kumar fan. He loves to travel, and his escapades include a 400 km bicycle ride in just 4 days, from Melbourne.

    Waseem has been pursuing his artistic love since 2002, starting with Yahoo Astrology as a multimedia designer and then went on to work with Web Chutney as a Sr. Multimedia Designer. A year later, he was appointed the Art Director and led the company across Mumbai. After working with industry bigwigs and being a part of India’s Best Online Agency, he continued his journey of making the world a more creative place; he went to the land of the Sheikhs(DUBAI) – to shake-up their dull lives and lend his touch of creativity! He has spelled his designing magic for many successful digital campaigns – Microsoft, Yahoo, VLCC UAE, Babyshop UAE, Capri Sun UAE, Colors TV, Enchanteur, HDFC bank, Mtv India, MaxBupa, Yamaha India, Centerpoint, Yardley and Iconic UAE to name a few.

    Having worked with Crayons Global, Dubai, as the Head of Creative, he landed at Ideatelabs, to churn out campaigns that would satiate his hunger for Cannes and Abbys. He’s our office Dj, a prankster who keeps the mood light , when he is not busy seeking his ‘KICK’ from mind-blowing designs and creatives.

    Waseem Bhai as he’s fondly called, loves watching movies of another ‘Bhaijaan’ of the media world. A true Dabangg fan, Johnny Depp’s ‘Blow’ is the only movie that he considers at par with Dabangg. If you ever hear ‘Wake me up’ playing at full volume at Ideate, you know where to find Waseem! A die-hard Avicii fan, his other favourites are A.R. Rahman and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He loves to flaunt his Calvin Klein’s, levi's and New Yorker’s, AERO and taking selfies tops his hobby list.
